Ikke sikker på hvilken lav dette er?
Victorinox and Wenger
Polyporaceae. This could be Fomes fomentarius and if so it got an incredible history and traditions. Let me know:)
18.08.2014 Not far from my home this morning. (deer)
Tjeld birds. Life everywhere!
I guess some kids did use this for catching small crab.
Railroad nails and the different types are interesting and it is a source of iron that can be used for many tasks. Some use it to make knives, tools or all kinds of artwork. On the picture is a type used before on the railroads here and I believe it is called a Dogg. It was used to attach the railways.I found this thrown into the bush.
Some goodies bought today:)Crayfish and crab
I will enjoy this reading:)
I believe this area belongs in Froland, Kiland and the borders. There were some people doing kayak sports today 23.08.2014. They get in shape from this.
Real force in this water
In a situation that would require you to jump in water like this then you need to make a floating device to grab. It is dangerous and some places down the river or around such currents you may get stuck. If the water is cold then even more dangerous.
Grown on birch:) It is interesting to look for these.
It is time to Research som Russian and Soviet postage stamps again. I like them alot! see next picture.
A light, tweezers and magnifiers, these are nice tools to have.
Litt annen historie igjen. Meget god artikkel i "alt om historie og vitenskap"nr 4 2014 om den berømte klatringen av Eiger i Sveits i 1938. Ingen spøk å klatre der!
The North Face Movie is about the 1936 attempt
26.08.2014 It went really fast today to get some mackerels. Out and down with the line and fish on. The sea temperature has gone down and that is good atleast for other fish. Really healthy food!
Should have had a better camera today 26.08.2014. I believe it is a fiskeørn/fish eagle(Pandionidae) Not a good picture but i got a good look at it in the air and under it. It was two.
Helped my buddy today and i got the opportunity to test an excavator with belts. Really fun!
This is a nice Leatherman Multitool. OHT. I got this just for the mechanism and i like it. The slide mechanism is known from the Gerbers. It is not easy to produce such a multitool. I am impressed!
The plier is spring loaded. You can also lock the plier when inside the body of the tool. This Leatherman knife is an evolution and an important feat for modern tools. The molle sheath/ pouch is ok.
To lock the plier inside got more than one advantage.
Here you can attach the cleaning rod and because the plier is locked you get better control.
These openings got a big potential.
One more nature picture of the fungus again.
Some more nature
Order of the Red Star, Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Order of the Red Banner(orders and awards)
Har kun sett lett over Asaklitt multiverktøy. Tanga er overraskende god. Tok et par grepa tak på spikere, man merker det fort om tanga er god nok slik. Funksjoner mangler litt presisjon. Fin backup eller i kombinasjon med andre.
Her er universalnøkkelen til Biltema. Mye for 20kr. Litt stor og det kan hende at det kan være vanskelig å komme til. I kombinasjon med Multi-Tools og SAKs så kan den være god å ha.
Really colorful and cool
Maybe i am a "trekkie":)
The deep oceans are the last frontier of the Earth itself. We know to little about it and when man really came here.
:) bad thing, I wonder if it got a hunting license? maybe it did not hunt, maybe it just ate what was dead already. I would say it is fully safe to revive one. Let it stroll around in the woods and find out:)
Very nice stamps from The USA and educational. On the backside is information about the flags!
It is important for people to know history and postage stamps can be educational and nice no matter what country of interest.
here is a fish picture from the spring 2014. Herring got many shells and the fish-shell scraper on a SAK can be used to remove them. It works but one must clean the SAK afterwards. You can also use a knife blade and scrape with. This did not bite on a hook. It got in the way of the hook and it was done.
I found this funny thing on a small day trip. I do not believe we have such dangerous fish in the lakes and rivers.
The wood under the Wenger is strange looking becasue it has been in saltwater and sun, sometimes the wood becomes white/grey. Sometimes it is just the rain and sun + other elements that cause this.
Very nice color on this fungus
Not all fungus is nice looking but it is the part of the natural process in the nature. Some fungus got great history in traditions. It was used for many things. The reason for why the different fungus grow on trees are complicated.
Remember in life that the soul train is going home. Life is the train ride and eventually you get there. I got my ticket and i will never let it go.
There is only life in the nature.
Did you know that some fungus need to be heat treated before you can eat it? I believe this is a Rødskrubb(Leccinum versipelle) and a food source. See the wiki
there are more topics on the 7 year plan than i have shown, just the ones i have found so far. If you check out a a catalogue or the internet then you will find them.
I found this Beetle that looks like a Geotrupes stercorarius, if not let me know. It was busy doing its task.
Se troll i ord siden på nettet, anbefales. Marihøne: Hell som kommer fra kjærlighetsgudinnens gaver.
Luck that comes from the goddess of love
I am pleased with the colors on this shot
I believe this was in the early summer while the water temperature was lower. Anyhow the Cod got an incredible history and traditions. some of the colors and structure can be very nice.
This was early spring 2014 and from one of the kayak day trips. Smaller tasty fish.
I believe this is from a sea snail type
I wonder if this was in 2013 or so.
This is a powerful beaver. The splash from the tale was thrown 10 meters. The beavers have been acting strange this year 2014. I have observed it swimming more in saltwater than normal. This pic was in the river:)
Not the best picture but the beaver swam around my kayak and it did splash with the tale and dived, then it surfaced and splashed again. This it did many times because it was aware of me. On the picture is the tale hit and the splash reached my kayak.
Small fishing trip today 12.09.2014. Caught some mackerel, cod and pollock. Not so much fish today. The seagulls got some remains to eat:)
12.09.2014 Not always so easy to see on the ground. Slettenok(Coronella austriaca) Looked like a small piece of wood. See next pictures
It is not poisonous.
It can bite.
