These are my two latest knives for my collection. It is a Victorinox knife made for Felco and a Wenger Graft 03. Victorinox make knives for Felco SA and from 2009 a deal was made on delivering a selection
of knives.
One of these is the wood handled knife 1.93.00 a heavy pruning knife. It is very well made with brass liners and hardwood handles. The curved pruning blade is good for desuckering.
For me it is no doubt about the quality and it is for sure a hard use tool for professionals. The construction is very strong and with a powerful spring. It is comfortable to open and close. I have done
much research the last years on the uses of such a blade. It is really a multifunction tool used not only for gardens but also for plantations, other special uses for floor and wall coverings. It got many uses.
It is an interesting handle with the shape and the wood surface is not slippery.
Then to the Wenger knife, it is a grafting knife for different uses. This knife got very
much quality for the money, low priced but useful. The construction is interesting with the plastic scales and open rivets.
I really like this knife for its simplicity. Nice red plastic handles that
is comfortable. Total length is almost 10cm. The Victorinox got two open rivets, the third looks to be hidden in the spring. Total length about 11cm
