Ap Blaze 50 and Snow camo

From 2012-2013 we see these special Wenger Ranger 130mm knives with the functions for hunters. In the magazine” jakt og fiske” number 12. 2013 the snow model got top score in the test.

It is always interesting to read what the hunters say about the knives, i also recommend to read on the internet about the special camo system. Wenger use different systems for example Hardwoods, Blaze and Snow. The functions or implements got the Swiss quality that people know about. I hear collectors and users say these knives are superb. I agree since i have tested a few things myself.

The knives are innovative!

The 50 model in Blaze or Snow got the new Ranger design that i really enjoy, the 50 is also in standard scales. The new Rangers also got the special locking systems and comfort for a more safe use.

Since the functions are so large it is more comfortable to use and it will also be a good knife for safety. One hand opening blade and extra blade. The wood saw can be used to cut thick rope. This is one of the largest saws on any multitool or pocket knife in the world. The saw is a multifunction tool.

About the Ranger 50 with normal black scales, i have no information on it yet and this may be just a special edition. I will have it in mind if any info is found. The Blaze and Snow is absolute the best looking for me.

In 2011 Wenger introduced the AP Blaze and the 57 model. This got the functions like on the number 50 + awl, can opener and the special flat screwdriver with cap opener + cable tool. This tool configuration is older than 2011, the New Rangers got introduced in 2007 and up.

The Delémont factory got the 57 model in different handle editions, on the picture you see the three i have, Blaze 57, Hardwoods 57 and the RangerGrip 57

It is with joy i see the Swiss Army Knives doing so well here in Norway. I know hunting is for many a hobby. The Delémont factory got many knives made for this type of need.

I have never seen knives with these camo systems that looks the same. Check out Realtree Camo on the internet!

AP Blaze update

Here is another example of individual patterns on the AP Blaze knives. Two AP Blaze 50 models side by side. See picture below. So far i have never seen identical ones.

"It is always very difficult to capture the shade on such colorations"

Who believe development is boring? On this picture to the right you can see some of the latest Swiza developments and handle. I do not believe this is AP Blaze but it for sure is a Hunting designation. The bright orange camouflage decorated handle reminds me about the Wenger AP Blaze knives. It got a softer shade. I like it very much!

Hi, thank you very much for question. The brass rivets/pins should be the same on the 91mm if same age. There could be some diff. tolerances.
