Here is a very nice Ranger 120mm category that I recently bought in Denmark. The model number is 1 77 05 802 Ranger Camo 05. This is the old Ranger configuration that Wenger used before the New Ranger 130mm knives in 2007.
I never managed to find the complete story on when the old Ranger knives was stopped completely in the production. It may be that it continued all the way until 2013. I looked on the functions and compared with some new Ranger knives from 2009 and it looks
to me that it could be that the old 120mm configuration continued with some changes. We know that they were produced in 2006-2007. This one got the Bill Jordans Advantage Wetlands camo design and it is like an artwork.
It is a very nice knife with large functions for Hunting purposes for birds and other and it got the slide release button for the liner locking mechanism. There are obvious differences between this and
the New Rangers.
The blade is long with a clip design. It looks like this knife does not have brass rivets and brass was used on the 1990s configuration and up. There is for sure an evolution on the W120 or
120mm knives too with variations. This is a great knife.
